The Open Group India Awards 2024


We are thrilled to announce the Call for Nominations for our prestigious upcoming awards program ~ The Open Group India Awards 2024, to be held July 31, 2024.

The Open Group India is gearing up for the sixth edition of the awards to acknowledge and celebrate organizations and teams in India, South Asia, Middle-East, and the African regions that have demonstrated excellence in applying open standards, open-source software, and best practices.

The Open Group standards play a vital role in fostering global collaboration, facilitating international product and service exchange, enhancing regulatory requirements, achieving interoperability, and encouraging healthy market competition.

Award Categories:

  1. TOGAF® Standard / Enterprise Architecture
  2. ArchiMate® Standard / Modeling Language
  3. IT4IT™ Standard / IT Management and Planning
  4. Open Trusted Technology Provider™ Standard (O-TTPS) / Supply Chain Security, Cyber Supply Chain Security, Trusted Technology Provider
  5. Cybersecurity / Open FAIR™ Risk Analysis, Security Architecture, Zero Trust Architecture
  6. OSDU® Data Platform / Digital Transformation, Open Source Software Data Platform (Energy Industry)
  7. Most Promising Program for Women in Enterprise Architecture


  8. Open Standards for Sustainability: The Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) outlined in Agenda 2030 sets forth a “bold and transformative” plan of action to shift the world towards sustainable development. Sustainability is the need of the hour across all sectors, spanning from chemicals to electronics to renewable energy.

This category will provide a platform to showcase the role of standards in addressing and promoting sustainability in key areas.  Interventions can include good technical procedures, regulatory practices, stakeholder engagement, inclusive collaboration, and effective standard-setting that compliment national and international efforts towards ease of doing business and strengthening global trade and commerce.

  9. Enterprise Architecture Competition for Students. This is a competition for students pursuing management (MBA or equivalent) and engineering (B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent) degrees. The competition integrates blended learning, problem-based projects, and mentorship. Through this competition, students will have the opportunity to engage in real-world challenges, propose creative solutions, and demonstrate their ability to design efficient enterprise architecture solutions. Best projects will be given attractive prizes at the awards ceremony in New Delhi, India.

Important Guidelines for Nominations (for Categories 1 to 8):

  • All the above mentioned categories are organizational awards and not individual awards. 
  • Nominations are open to organizations worldwide with a presence in India, South Asia, Middle-East, and Africa. Membership in The Open Group is not a prerequisite for submission. You can access the nomination form here
  • Nomination form must be complete and submitted online no later than May 19th, 2024.
  • Organizations may submit more than one nomination in multiple categories.
  • Projects that have received awards in previous years are not eligible for participation this year.
  • One project may adopt multiple standards, making it eligible for various categories. It is the nominating organization's responsibility to specify the category for evaluation.
  • Nominees may be contacted by the evaluation team or jury members for interviews to gather additional details. 
  • The awards will be presented at the hybrid ceremony to be held in conjunction with The Open Group Summit in New Delhi, India on July 31, 2024.
